Who is Boochoux?

We are two mothers who have known each other since childhood, with the same dream: to make a difference.

It all started with a feeling of helplessness we both felt when faced with certain questions our children asked. Often asked at the wrong time, or by surprise, and to which we didn't answer the way we'd like. Yet, these questions are a gateway to a discussion that would allow us to help them with their emotional development.

The Boochoux Mission

With the help of the Boochoux, we want to recreate those precious moments when we discuss life, everything and nothing, with our children. To stimulate discussions about what a better, inclusive, and empathetic world looks like, one in which children and their parents can imagine themselves.

Basically, these little monsters, called Boochoux, want to help pass on good values for a better future.

The Design

The design is done from A to Z in our workshop, here in Montreal.

Everything is included: the theme, the story, the illustration, the patterns, the design of our boxes right up to the manufacturing of the Boochoux.

To achieve our vision, we have decided to pay particular attention to the eco-responsibility of our products, while being as local as possible.
We select materials from local suppliers for you. We source our materials from an eco-responsible farm in Manitoba to fill the Boochoux with sheep's wool. And the books are printed in Montreal.
